The Coast Academy of Dance is a highly respected dance school serving the Sunshine Coast area for more than three decades. We offer all styles of dance for all ages and levels. We are located at 5645 Wharf Ave. in Sechelt, BC.
2023-2024 Dance Season
Our current dance season will run from September 2023-June 2024. Classes are in full swing, and our dancers are currently preparing for their year end performance, taking place June 8th and 9th at the Raven’s Cry Theatre. Our schedule for the 2024-2025 season will be released on June 8th, and registration will open in August. Email info@coastdance.com to join our email list and receive our registration packages!
The Coast Academy Presents: The Old & The New!
Join us on June 8th & 9th for our jam packed, end of the season performance! Our dancers will be showcasing their hard work and dedication while performing to both your favourite throwbacks and hits of today. This performance will take place at the Raven’s Cry Theatre in Sechelt, BC.
Tickets will go on sale May 4th.
Join us for Summer Camp!
Summer Camp is just around the corner! We are excited to offer 4 weeks of awesome opportunities for your dancer to try all forms of dance, while meeting new friends and getting their bodies moving and grooving. Registration will open on May 1st.
Junior Dance Camp!
When: July 22nd-26th, August 12th-16th &/or August 19th-23rd
Who: 4-7 Years
Time: 9am-12pm
Genres of Dance: Jazz, Ballet, Modern/Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Broadway, Tiny Tumblers & Arts and Crafts
Cost: $259 per dancer (plus GST)

*Students may be split into groups depending on age and experience*
Intermediate Dance Camp!
When: July 15th-19th
Who: 8-13 Years
Time: 10am-3pm
Genres of Dance: Jazz, Jazz Technique, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Broadway, Lyrical, Contemporary & Arts and Crafts
Cost: $375 per dancer (plus GST)
