November 2015 Newsletter

Hello Everyone! Here are a few reminders for you during this busy time of the year.

SHORNCLIFFE & TOTEM LODGE
December 5: For those classes who are performing for the retirement homes please remember to meet at Shorncliffe; 5847 Medusa St. at 1:45 pm. We will perform at 2 pm and then all go directly to Totem Lodge (Attached to St. Mary’s hospital) and perform a second time at approximately 2:30 pm. (PPPs, Bronze Tap, Grade 2 Modern, Music and Stage, Ballet E & Adv 1 Ballet).

TELETHON
December 5- Please note that our performance time is 5:48 pm. I would like to set a rehearsal on the same day at the studio at 3:30 pm. We will then travel directly to the theatre in Gibsons. We will need to be at the theatre by 5:15 pm.(PPPs, Adult Cardio, Grade 6 Ballet, Adv 2 Modern, Adv 2 Tap, Adv 1 Tap & Junior Comp Jazz.)

PARENT VIEWING
December 7- 11 The students are excited to show off all that they have learned so far. Don’t forget to come and join us during our last week of dance before the Winter break.
Students who are in ISTD major exam classes are requested to come to class in exam attire.

YEAR END COSTUME FEES
We would like to extend the delay for payment until December 11. Parent viewing week is a good opportunity to stop by the office and pay for your dancer’s costumes. Cash only please.
Pre-school & Primary/Junior level, – $20 per class & all classes above Primary level – $30 per class.
Please note that we will not collect for Acting & Adult classes.

MAKE UP CLASSES
Please be reminded that we have make up classes for Thanksgiving and Remembrance Day.
All regular classes will be in session on Monday December 14 and Wednesday December 16.

WINTER BREAK
The studio will be closed from December 15 until January 11. We will be working on ideas for our year end production over the break. We will begin working towards the performance very quickly in the New Year along with ISTD exams and competitions.

LOST & FOUND
Please check our large collection of lost and found. You will be surprised what you may find!

HEADS UP
We will be having our annual “Bring a friend to dance week” between January 25 & 29.
